Blazing Swine Barbeque fundraises for all sorts of Non-Profit organizations or for a good cause.  We have had many successful fundraisers over the years including helping a wounded veteran's family raise $10,000 with three fundraisers.  

Blazing Swine emphasizes advanced ticket sales.  This is the best way for the organization to make money and guard against financial loss. 

The Swine Blazers will not do a fundraiser without advanced ticket sales.  This is an indicator that the organization is not serious about raising money for their cause.  We recommend selling at least 150 tickets.  However, please keep in mind that the more tickets that are sold, the cheaper the ticket becomes for the organization and the more money the organization makes per ticket sold.

Blazing Swine can accommodate thousands of ticket sales.  However to make things run smoothly we will work with you to ensure a smooth pick-up by staggering times of pick-up of the barbeque meals.

How a fundraiser works with the Swine Blazers:

The first step is to talk to Blazing Swine to establish a relationship with a Swine Blazing Advocate to establish a menu, ticket price and set a date for the event.  It's important to plan early to ensure there's enough time to sell tickets or schedule multiple fundraising events throughout the season.  The Swine Blazers can be reached at 717-319-5604 (ask for Tom) or blazingswinebbq@gmail.com.  

A typical meal is Pulled Pork, 4 Inch Bun, BBQ Sauce, Cole Slaw, and Middleswarth Potato Chips (1.125 OZ).  Blazing Swine is responsible for the styrofoam to-go container, plastic fork and napkin and the distribution of the meal.  After a ticket price is established the organization and Blazing Swine know exactly what is expected from each other and how much the organization and Blazing Swine will receive per ticket sale.


Please keep in mind that there are many things that make Blazing Swine unique and superior to work with.

  1. A Swine Blazing Advocate that ensures nothing is missed and everything runs as smooth as possible the day of the event.  No other barbecue company does this.  Many times Blazing Swine has recommended a ticket sale realistic for the event instead of the organization buying too many tickets.  Many barbecue companies expect you to distribute everything as the food gets cold in foil bags.  Blazing Swine considers this unsanitary!  At Blazing Swine we do all of the work except the ticket sales.  This allows the organization to focus on the most important aspect of the fundraiser:  ticket sales!
  2. Blazing Swine provides everything essential for the fundraiser to run smoothly.  This includes side-dishes, styrofoam to-go containers, napkins and plastic utensils.  Many other barbecue companies make you provide these things.  Please keep this in mind when doing a cost comparison.
  3. Other barbecue companies could make you sell up to 400 tickets before they will work with you.  We require advanced ticket sales and a minimum of 100 tickets sold.  The Swine Blazers remind you that a fundraiser for 100 tickets and a fundraiser for 400 tickets are two very different things and because of economies of scale the 100 ticket fundraiser will be more expensive than the 400 ticket fundraiser.
