Blazing Swine's Story
The Pit Masters at Blazing Swine Barbeque are Tom and Brian Whiston. We grew up playing sports year round, we were both dedicated high school athletes and the only time we had to celebrate with friends and family was over the Summer between baseball and football seasons. This was and is prime barbeque season!
Every June throughout high school and college we borrowed a friend's rotisserie spit and would roast a whole hog overnight with all of our friends. This celebration went on until our friend moved away to spread Christianity in Paraguay and then in Honduras on horseback. The rotisserie is an heirloom to his family and we weren't comfortable asking to borrow the rotisserie without our friend being present.
So we built our own smoker and four smokers later we're a barbeque company! Blazing Swine Barbeque only uses the best world-class competition smokers from Georgia with modifications that our Engineering Corps has made for sanitation and other classified requirements.
Current smokers representing Blazing Swine Barbeque and on barbeque tours on the East Coast of the United States are
Operations Black Angus and Blue Smoke were initiated in 2009 and going extremely well. Operations Lemon-Drop and Gyro-Americano were initiated in the Pennsylvania 2018 Fair Season.
As we approach and surpass the ten year anniversary and commitment to the Prophecy we would like to mention Operations Tenacity, "N", and Tendores or T-N-T for short.
When the High Council convenes much time is dedicated to Operations T-N-T because all good things start with discipline, adapting to adversity through creativity, resilience and smoke.
I can't disclose anything specific about TNT other than all three operations have been around since the beginning of what is now known as Blazing Swine; that Operations T-N-T have a very successful symbiotic relationship, and the Swine Blazers are winning the war against Sorós and mediocrity.
During the Year of the Plague, the Swine Blazers reflected. We meditated on our affirmations. We reflected on our values. Right now there is nothing more important than the Prophecy, patience, personal affirmations and standing for what is right and what you believe in! Cooking with wood and its derivatives is the way! Propane kills and adulterates the meats!
A History of Smokers
Smokers that have been used by the Whiston Brothers and that are currently Retired:
The Grill-95, this was an old and broken propane grill that the Whiston Brothers converted into a wood or charcoal grill and used indirect heat to cook the barbeque. This grill was never used for commercial or retail sales in Pennsylvania.
The Falcon Class was a single 55 gallon drum barrel that had a frame built from scrap wood and 2x4's. The barrel was replaced every year. This was the first class of smoker that the Whiston Brothers built and designed. It used indirect heat to cook the barbeque as both the meat and the fire were in the same chamber. This limited the amount of food that could be put inside the barrel. The Falcon Class was the first Class of cooker that the Whiston Brothers sold food for a profit.
the Falcon I-97
the Falcon II-98
the Falcon III-99
the Falcon IV-000
the Falcon V-01
The Patriot Class was a dual 55 gallon drum barbeque system that took advantage of an offset firebox and had a frame made from fresh 2x4's. The 55 gallon drum that was used as the offset firebox was replaced every year. Because the barrel designated for the barbeque chamber rarely had a direct fire in it, it was never changed.
The Patriot Class allowed the Whiston Brothers to double their cooking capacity compared to the Falcon Class because of the additional barrel. Instead of having to leave space open near the fire in the Falcon Class, the entire drum could be filled with meat in the Patriot Class smoker. The Patriot Class was the first truly authentic barbeque smoker that the Whiston Brothers used because it used an offset firebox.
the Patriot I-02
the Patriot II-03
the Patriot III-04
the Patriot IV-05
The Smoke Stack Class was a dual 55 gallon drum barbeque system mounted on a push mower. This was the first smoker the Whiston Brothers used with wheels and although no welding was involved, it was made entirely out of steel. The barrels were replaced every year.

The Swine Blazer's Goal
The Whiston brothers' main goal is to have fun while sharing our interpretation of barbeque. We know there is other good barbeque out there, but Mista Feng say respectfully: "Blazing Swine No Dog and Pony Show! With our own proprietary techniques, the Swine Blazers carve all barbeque fresh and on location. The Swine Blazers don't even know what a pair of tongs is. What do you use these tongs for? We want to know...please email Mista Feng if you know what a tin pan is used for." Seriously, Mista Feng still hasn't received an email an email. Blazing Swine has figured out what a tin pan is for. However, Mista Feng still hasn't received an email after 15 years!
